My Redeemer Lives
Job 19:25–27
Job’s life had unraveled — his body was weak, his friends misunderstood him, and his future seemed empty. Yet in the middle of that deep suffering, Job lifts his eyes beyond the ashes and declares something eternal:
“I know that my Redeemer lives.”
Faith that Speaks Hope
This is the power of faith — it does not deny pain, but speaks hope into it. Job didn’t have all the answers to his “why,” but he clung to the “who.” His Redeemer. His Living God.
When we walk through seasons of loss, loneliness, or confusion, we may not be able to explain everything. But like Job, we can anchor ourselves in this unshakable truth: our Redeemer is alive. Jesus Christ has already borne our suffering, conquered death, and now stands as our Advocate before the Father.
“Yet in my flesh I shall see God.”
That means death is not the end for us — resurrection is coming. One day we will see Him face to face: every tear wiped away, every scar redeemed, every question answered in His glory.
A Prayer
Lord, in my struggles and unanswered questions, help me hold fast to this truth: You live. You are my Redeemer, and one day I will see You face to face.
Strengthen my hope and steady my heart. Amen.
